A native Californian, I was raised in Southern California moving to the San Francisco Bay area and subsequently to Monterey (Elkhorn Slough) where I have now resided for the past 20 years. I am an avid birder and have a full appreciation for all aspects of nature. |

Monterey Birding
Adventures was first established as Pacific Rim Bird Tours in
1998. Because my tours are geared to Central California, I decided the
name change would be more destination specific and helpful to those looking
for guide services in my region. I operate personalized individual and
small group tours. I have an enthusiastic appreciation for birds that
I gladly impart to visitors. With an attention to detail, my goal is to
see that you have a positive and memorable experience. |

I reside in Moss Landing/Elkhorn Slough where in my free time, I lead tours for regional Audubon Societies, scheduled bird tours at the Elkhorn Slough National Estuarine Research Reserve and conduct avian wetland monitoring for the Moss Landing Marine Labs, a consortium for seven Cal-State Schools. As a past volunteer for the Big Sur Ornithology Lab, I spent 4 1/2 years participating in their mist net program censuring the health and distribution of resident and migratory bird populations. |
